We also provide our clients with full range audio technology and interpreting systems, if required.
Generally used for large conferences or meetings where two or more languages are required and translation is needed close to real time. Interpreters sit in a booth, listen to the speaker through a headset, and translate into a microphone, which is wirelessly transmitted to headsets worn by the audience members. Our regular client SAP entrusted us with a new task in 2021. We were asked to translate two sets of training materials and the related documentation from English into Hungarian. The volume was close to 250,000 words and the work had to be completed in one month on the client’s server using SDL Trados Studio. Ten experienced external SAP translators worked in three teams, constantly consulting on terminology issues, and completed the work on time.

In addition to localisation tasks, our client SAP regularly asks us to test user interfaces of applications translated by our team and to fix any errors we find. In November 2021, we were tasked once again to test an application. This time the testing process was carried out in a brand new, enhanced, interactive application. We carry out these tasks always in-house because they require complex background knowledge and we have to comply with the highest security requirements.

Starting August 2021, we were commissioned by one of our key customers Phoenix Contact GmbH to translate the content of their completely renewed global website into Hungarian, Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Finnish and Danish. The translation of the website, which involved approximately 100,000 words per language, took one month. According to schedule, the client was to check the translated content, make corrections and have the translators finalize the text before going live in additional two weeks. With the help of Across translation aid software and around 26 external translators and proofreaders, the project was completed on time and in full.

In June 2021, Lounge Design Ltd. entrusted our company with a slightly different, more creative task than usual. We were asked to translate the titles of the photos for the Hungary 365 photo competition into English. It wasn’t an easy task, as it required a much freer, more literary approach. However, thanks to the translator and the proofreading of our colleagues, the project was successfully completed and our company was included in the impressum of the album and a photo exhibition of the pictures was inaugurated at the Danube Promenade, which was open to public until 9 January 2022. Both the book and the exhibition will enhance the reputation of our company.
